Another Math Trick

1. Think of a number.
2. Multiply it by 2.
3. Add 50 to the result from Step 2.
4. Divide the result of Step 3 by 2.
5. Subtract the original number from the result of Step 4.

The final answer will be 25, right?!

The Tank Chair: Multi-Purpose Wheelchair

More freedom now for the unfortunate and disabled.

Tank_chairTank Chair is a Custom off-road wheelchair that can go anywhere outdoors.  Conquers Streams, Mud, Snow, Sand, and Gravel, allowing you to get back to nature, and can also climb up and down stairs.

For every 10 chairs sold, Tank Chair is going to donate one to a fire department in a rural area so that they can give it away to someone who would not normally be able to afford one.  The first is going to go to Parker Fire Department in Arizona.

More screenshots plus some videos.

My 2 Cents

What a brilliant idea to come up with. A chair moving like a tank!

Firefox 2.0 will Integrates Anti-phishing Technology

Firefox logoMozilla has reached the latest development milestone for its next-generation Firefox 2.0 “Bon Echo” browser with a little anti-phishing help from Google.

Anti-phishing capability, which Mozilla has branded “Safe Browsing,” is one of the marquee features in Firefox 2.0 and one of the reasons a third alpha is necessary. Now baked into Firefox 2.0 alpha 3, Google Safe Browsing is triple-licensed under the Mozilla Public License (MPL) 1.1, the GPL 2.0 and the LGLP.

Safe Browsing inspects a visited site against a regularly updated list of known phishing sites. The list of phishing sites may be downloaded automatically within the browser or can optionally be checked against Google’s online list of known miscreants. IE Internet Explorer 7 will also have a form of anti-phishing capability.

Google OS

I came across this in a forum…and I’m totally shock! Read this, this is about a new operating system by Google. It has not been comfirmed yet by Google. My first thought was all these shots are an artwork.

Googleos_bootIt is based on GNU/Linux with a HURD/Googled kernel and it is supposed to come in three releases: Embedded, Portable and Corporate. This OS basically relies on the idea of a Remote-OS: the kernel and the boot components are loaded in a chip or in a proper 2GB usb key, while all the remaining apps will be downloaded from a secure Google server. The LSI chip has been made for an easy integration in some next-gen motherboards, making possible the creation of Google-based machines which will be able to act as a cluster node and share the load of work.

The USB device, instead, will let users boot their favourite system directly from the key (and that’s quite obvious). The data will be encrypted with a public GPGP key and made safe from possible abuses. Rumours tell that the system will be able to seek for local and remote devices and create a dedicated storage area on the user’s HD (as some Live Linux Distro does). The third option, called corporate, will let companies install a local cabinet in order to avoid waste of band.
