WLM Tips: Backup/Restore Custom Emoticons, Backgrounds, Display Pictures and Winks
I’ve encountered a problem with Windows Live Messenger where all my custom emoticons, backgrounds, display pictures and winks were “gone”. I was shocked!
Actually it’s still there in my hard drive. The problem is it that my current login no longer associate to that profile folder. So, how to restore back? These steps should get your old stuffs back.
- Go to your “Application Data” folder. Start > Run %appdata%.

- Now you will see a list of application data folder. Locate Microsoft > MSN Messenger.

- You should see a list of numbered folders. Now locate the folder that store your custom emoticons, backgrounds, display pictures and winks. (most of the folders is empty)

- Now, copy the whole thing inside that folder and paste it to your new profile folder. (see below)
- You are done, now you have your “stuffs” back!

Using Google to Read Thousands of Books - Legally
Yeah, with Google nothing is impossible! Just follow these 10 steps below:

- Go to http://print.google.com or http://books.google.com/
- Enter the title of the book that you prefer.
- Now, you should see the title of the book listed (if else, the book is not in Google Library database), click on it.
- Go to the “Contents” page and see if the book has what you are looking for.
- Note the page number of the book that interests you.
- There is an option “Search in this book”. Just enter the page number (say 123) of the book and hit OK. (You need a Google Account – Sign up)
- There should be several links listed. Click the one that shows “Page 123″.
- You can read 3 pages before and 3 pages after your specified page. Now enter the page number that you want to read (in the similar way)
- Using this method, you can read all the books that are in Google Library.
- Nothing much, just ENJOY!
A note of reminder: Some pages are restricted though, this method is not 100% works.

The Eclipse of Mars Optical Illusion
Stare at the white dot in the centre of the red circle. The longer - the better (two minutes and you’ll get a much stronger effect). Always try to keep focused on the white dot. It’ll be worth it.
Soon after staring, you’ll start to see a thin rim of light around the edge. Don’t stop staring though yet! Wait another minute - keeping your head perfectly still.
Once you’ve done this, very slowly - move your head backwards - making sure to keep your eyes focused on the dot at all times. The circle’s rim will glow brilliantly with true Cyan! Keep on moving your head slowly backwards, and witness the Eclipse of Mars!

My2Cents:
What can I say other than WOW! I see the eclipse of Mars!
