Happy birthday!! Happy birthday!! BlogIsEverything.com’s 1st anniversary!!

Well, it has been a great one year for me and my blog, BlogIsEverything.com. I love to see BlogIsEverything.com growing, and now it has been a year since its rebirth.
Huh, I’ve been blogging for a year++ now…and I don’t really have a clear idea why I dived into blogging. Anyway, I’m really happy to be here. I started with Lots of Craps, a free blogger-based blog on Tuesday, 1 November 2005, 4:25 PM (Malaysian time) and ends with…Oh sorry, there is no ending!
I didn’t really put much time in BlogIsEverything.com since I’m still pursuing my degree in Computer Science. But don’t worry, I’ll always try keep up with time to ensure my readers have some fresh stuffs to digest. So, guys don’t worry, I’ll make sure BlogIsEverything.com stays updated from time to time.
OK, let’s sing a birthday song…
Happy birthday…again!

Flickrvision = Flickr + Google Map + Live!
Easy equation, Flickrvision = Flickr + Google Map + Live!
Flickrvision is so additive and you better be prepared by reserve up some spare time – you can get stuck!

It’s basically a Google Map but with a little bit of twist! You can see new photos being posted all around the world on Flickr in real-time.

Firefox for Farmers
Many farmers have been recently discussing the values of modern technology around their areas – to be able to implement and use it. The ability to own a broadband connection and a computer for that matter and to be able to turn it on, without it turning back off again because it’s backwards, being Windows 98.
Now, in 2007, farmers have finally developed an idea that works, and we’ve all used this idea before. In fact, we could be using it now. The idea is preventing millions of users getting spyware, viruses and ads as well as other annoyances and now…

Canada C$1 Million Coin
This single coin worth 1 million Canadian dollars or equivalent to 903,506 U.S. dollars!

The Royal Canadian Mint has produced the world’s first 100-kilogram gold coin with a face value of $1 million. And they’re for sale.
The coin is the size of a “very thick pizza” — 50 centimetres wide and three centimetres thick — and is .99999 pure.
It was originally meant to be a one-off novelty item to help promote the other gold coin the mint unveiled Thursday — a new line of one-ounce Maple Leaf bullion coins that will have a face value of C$200.
But after several interested buyers came forward, the mint decided to produce “a very limited quantity” of the C$1-million coins (US $907,000) on a made-to-order basis for public sale.
Even though the big coin has a face value of C$1 million, it won’t sell for that. At current prices, the coin’s 3,215 troy ounces of gold are worth well over $2 million.
