THIS is a one of a kind cool gadget I should say that impressed me a little bit more than usual.

Don’t get too impressed. This was originally supposed to be the “Animated Gears of War Shirt” but by the time we strapped a 360 to the back of the shirt and added a flatscreen to the front it just wasn’t feasible. The test subjects kept falling over, no one liked the car battery power supply duct taped to their leg and don’t even get us started on the price. Timmy (our faithful monkey mascot) suggested a “Barbie Horse Adventures Shirt” and after we pummeled him into submission it was decided that was a bad idea as well. So instead we present to you this fine Animated Retro Table Tennis Shirt. Hey… it’s no third-person shooter with big-ass guns and amazing lighting effects, but it does capture that retro gaming nostalgia you’ve been craving.

Simply pop two AAA batteries into the concealed pack, push a button and voila! Amazing animated glowing old skool gaming on your chest. The two automated computer players are very talented and never seem to miss a shot… but you might want to watch for several hours just to be sure.

The MIT Media Lab is ground zero for all things awesome, and Leonardo Bonanni’s DishMaker is no exception.

Bonanni’s dishwasher-sized machine uses recyclable discs of acrylic to create plates, bowls, and cups right in your home. Once you’re done with the plates, you put them back into the DishMaker, where they’re recycled and remolded into the dishware of your choice.

The DishMaker does not clean your dishes just yet, but Bonanni’s working on it for a next-gen prototype.

According to his Web site, the DishMaker is the same size and consumes the same amount of energy as a normal dishwasher. DishMaker owners also would free up a ton of cabinet space, as you won’t need to store dishes. The fact that the eco-friendly DishMaker recycles the acrylic discs up to 100 times makes for less waste.

You’ll still need to buy some sporks, though.

Microsoft and Dell recently partnered up to create a super-cool custom PC for Windows Vista in celebration of Microsoft releasing Windows Vista to manufacturing earlier this month. They even capped the thing off by including a 30? monitor!
