PSD to HTML with Ease!

What? PSD to HTML?
Most of you might be stunned! Me too to be frank. Well, if you are a web designer or developer you might heard or even use this service before. Basically, PSD to HTML is a service by PSD2HTML.com that do conversion of graphic web design into hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and its extensions.
PSD to HTML, for What?
Well, you might question the idea of such service. Let me tell you this, building a custom made website is not an easy task. You have to get the template done and convert it to HTML or XHTML with other files like CSS, graphics, etc. It is not easy!

Remember

The use of

This was back in 1982… and then online bulletin boards or “bboards” are widely used across the Computer Science community. It was like the phenomenon of blogs nowadays.

Sedo Close My Account After One Day! (Updated)
Yup, no shit! I had some tough time getting myself an account from Sedo which I need to “apply” via email because I’m using a third party email like Gmail and stuff.
After like a week (yeah… they didn’t reply my email promptly) I finally got my account yesterday. I quickly get my account verified and activated and then added few of my unused domains and get those parked.
To my surprise, I was unable to login today. Then I thought, well maybe I’ve forgot my password. When I try to request for my password I got this “pleasant” message:
This account has been closed. Please contact our customer support team if you have any questions.

Well, why I so mad about them is they even didn’t let me know about my account closure. Anyway, I’ve sent an email to them. I’ll just wait and see.
And oh, I’ve also signed up a NameDrive.com account. Simple, fast and easy. I think most probably I’ll park all my domains there (after considering some feedbacks from domain parkers).
Update: I received an email from Sedo Support yesterday saying that my account was closed due to an error. They had reopen my account and so far, so good.

- To avoid typo and misspellings.
- To avoid confusion.
- To have a commercial domain with .com instead of .us
- Easier to remember.
- Easier and faster to type.
- Easier to pronounce.
- Want to make use of delicious.com and vice versa.
- Makes people easier to find and share with their friends.
- Delicious.com is not/less confusing compared to Del.icio.us to newbies.
- Easier to market when Delicious is integrated into Yahoo Network.
Well, anyway Del.icio.us still works fine but will be redirected to Delicious.com

Live.com Redesigned
Little did I know that Microsoft’s search brand, Live.com has been redesigned – not to a great extend but slightly. If you are not a Live Search users (I bet most of you are!) you barely can notice it. The redesigned Live.com has been seen live since last Wednesday for US visitors.
The new page looks just like before except it now features a dynamic background picture that will change periodically. The photo features a few blurry squares that will show up on mouse over and if for another few seconds, a box will pop up with a message link that brings user to a page with additional information including maps and photos.

What’s Up With Pingoat?

Guys, where is the goat? He has gone missing for about a month now!
I bet most of you are shocked and puzzled (me too) because you didn’t notice this as Wordpress do the ping automatically for you. So, most of you don’t have to deal with the “goat” manually.
Well, if you hop over to Pingoat.com, you will get a plain white page with a message that reads…
We’re currently doing system maintenance. Come back later.
It has been that way since early July, if no longer. They really down for maintenance or some other reasons? I doubt.
Anyway, sit down and watch.

Free Online Time Management Tool with actiTIME
I bet you know how important time management is to us, regardless whether you are a student, blogger, employee or businessman.
In the past, I’ve been using my management dairy and also my mobile phone (iPhone) to manage my daily, weekly and also monthly schedules, tasks, assignments and projects. They are pretty nifty but I can’t have them all the time with me, especially my management dairy which is quite bulky to bring along.
I’m looking for some free online time management tool which is more sophisticated and I can use when I’m nowhere near to my management dairy. One of my fellow bloggers and also my friend, David recommended this online tool to me, actiTIME which is free of course. So why not give it a try?
actiTIME, or actiTIME Server to be exact is a web-based, standalone and multi platform tool to manage time, project and task for small and mid-sized companies. Well, you don’t need to have a company to use it anyway, I’m using it personally.
I use it to track my task and also my school’s assignments or projects and of course actiTIME can do more than that. actiTIME Server can be installed under any OS and works well with MySQL and MS Access databases. I’ve installed it in my laptop. (No worries, actiTIME installs automagically on your PC/laptop, just like any other application)

Birth, Death Rates and CO2 Emission Live Stats!
I stumbled upon this very interesting website, BreathingEarth.net.

Breathing Earth gives visitors a real-time live statistics of the carbon dioxide emission levels of every country in the world, as well as the birth and death rates in a nice world map.
Those statistics given are of course not 100% accurate but just an estimation based on certain sources like the World Factbook and Wikipedia.
I’m pretty shocked and amazed by the stats provided. You see how fast people are born and died and also the mass of CO2 that have been emitted – live!
Guys, check it out!
