OK, this is another tutorial/trick/hack among others to cheat MegaUpload, via a forum.

For Firefox:

First go to http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/59/
Click Install Now to install addon.
Restart FF. Tool–>User Agent Switcher–>Options–>Options
Click User Agents–>Add

Type this:

+ Description: MEGAUPLOAD
+ User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Alexa Toolbar)

Click OK twice to finish adding User Agent.
From now, before downloading any file from MegaUpload, just go Tools–>User Agent Switcher–>MEGAUPLOAD.

For Internet Explorer, Maxthon, Anvant Browser:

Start–>Run–>Regedit–>OK

In Registry Editor window:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]

Right click Post Platform–>New–>String Value–> Type “Alexa Toolbar”
Restart PC. Done!

Note: For IE 7.0 the “Post Platform” will located at:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]

Here are 50 of them, pick one up to kill off those telemarketers!

1. Tell them they must have the wrong number, only God lives here.

13. Proudly describe what you found in your ear this morning.
14. Ask them what color underwear they are wearing today.
15. Describe your socks in detail.
16. Interrupt them repeatedly to describe the beauty of your new toaster.
17. Whiningly tell them that it is past your bedtime.
18. Midway through the conversation say, “Oh no Phil! You’ve done it again! I told you that knife was too sharp! Where are we going to get the money for another funeral?”
19. Ask them repeatedly if they believe in antelopes.
20. Refuse to answer any of their questions, as they may be one of THEM!
21. Ask them what they think would happen if you put a frog in a blender later tell them they were wrong.
22. Ask them for their phone number so that you can call them back and chat some more.

This is a little tutorial to show you how to use Google Translate to access blocked websites or restricted pages due to a proxy block (by your office, school, university, etc.)

We all know that Google is more than a search engine; we do use it as provider for email, mapping, news and many other services. But do you know, indirectly, Google is also a free proxy service.

Proxy is a device that stands between a PC and the internet, providing all the connections to the world wide web. What a proxy does is to receive all data from a requested site, so when you access web pages all data come from proxy.

What’s the purpose for Google as a proxy? We often use office/school/university connections, usually those services are set to provide more safety, blocking the access to undesidered web sites (the “black list”). What you can do now is use Google translator service (language tools) as a proxy to bypass the restrictions set for our connection!

You just need to type the following URL in the address bar:

http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=www.restricted.com

Note: www.restricted.com refers to the URL that you want to browse.

What you’ll get is the translation (English to English – that’s the content) of the page you want to see, your connection is directed to a Google.com page so this page won’t be blocked (would be blocked only with Google.com on the black list), no matter what’s the content.

Before you spend a dime on security, there are many precautions you can take that will protect you against the most common threats.

1. Check Windows Update and Office Update; have your Office CD ready. Windows Me, 2000, and XP users can configure automatic updates. Click on the Automatic Updates tab in the System control panel and choose the appropriate options.

2. Install a personal firewall. Both SyGate and ZoneAlarm offer free versions.

3. Install a free spyware blocker. PC Magazine Editors’ Choice was SpyBot Search & Destroy. SpyBot is also paranoid and ruthless in hunting out tracking cookies.

4. Block pop-up spam messages in Windows NT, 2000, or XP by disabling the Windows Messenger service (this is unrelated to the instant messaging program). Open Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services and you’ll see Messenger. Right-click and go to Properties. Set Start-up Type to Disabled and press the Stop button. Bye-bye, spam pop-ups! Any good firewall will also stop them.

5. Use strong passwords and change them periodically. Passwords should have at least seven characters; use letters and numbers and have at least one symbol. A decent example would be f8izKro@l. This will make it much harder for anyone to gain access to your accounts.

6. If you’re using Outlook or Outlook Express, use the current version or one with the Outlook Security Update installed. The update and current versions patch numerous vulnerabilities.

7. Buy antivirus software and keep it up to date. If you’re not willing to pay, try Grisoft AVG Free Edition. And double-check your AV with the free, online-only scanners available at www.pandasoftware.com/activescan and http://housecall.trendmicro.com.

8. If you have a wireless network, turn on the security features: Use MAC filtering, turn off SSID broadcast, and even use WEP with the biggest key you can get.

9. Join a respectable e-mail security list, such as the one found at PC Mag Security Super Site, so that you learn about emerging threats quickly and can take proper precautions.

10. Be skeptical of things on the Internet. Don’t assume that e-mail “From:” a particular person is actually from that person until you have further reason to believe it’s that person. Don’t assume that an attachment is what it says it is. Don’t give out your password to anyone, even if that person claims to be from “support.”
