World’s Smallest Projector
Sony unveils world’s smallest projector.
At 410cc it fits easily in the palm of your hand and would tuck away into most brief cases or handbags. The projector uses 14 LEDs as its light source, which means it will draw a fairly small amount of power compared to traditional projectors which generally use a high power bulb.

The LEDs provide a full spectrum of colour, producing red, green and blue light. Sony has stuck with three LCDs in favour of moving to DLP technology, even though DLP is a lot brighter. Sony has done some refinement to the setup of the components in this tiny projector, but it can still only manage 58cd/m2 on a normal projector screen.

Most Expensive Domain Name
Guess what, the most expensive domain name is Business.com. Business.com was sold by Texan entrepreneur Marc Ostrofsky on Dec 1 1999 for £4.6 million ($7.5 million).
Marc, a 38-year-old Houston media entrepreneur, bought the domain name from a London Internet service provider for $150,000 in 1996, the same year his children’s nanny won $21 million in the Texas lottery. Ostrofsky is not only a savvy businessman but also a very thoughtful husband. When he sold the domain name www.eflowers.com for $25,000 – and 50 cents on every transaction at that site – he made eFlowers promise to send his wife a dozen roses each month for the rest of her life!
This is how the Business.com website looks like:

This is a real business!

World’s Most Expensive Mobile Number
The world’s most expensive phone number is 666 6666.
The number was auctioned for charity in Qatar and sold for 10m Qatari riyals or £1.5m.
The previous record holder was Chinese number 8888 8888, which sold for £270,000. The Cantonese word for eight sounds very similar to the word for rich. It was bought by Sichuan Airlines.
The auction started at a million riyals and interest quickly narrowed from eight bidders to just two, according to Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA).
Having seven sixes as your mobile number might seem devilish to some, but interpretations vary. A brief dip into the weird world of numerology shows 666 is seen as holy in Judaism because it represents six directions - up, down, north, south, east and west. Others equate it with the Arabic word “ellah” meaning God.
On a techy note, the first Apple Computer sold for $666.66, the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is w - so www. shows how evil the internet is. And finally, Viagra has a molecular weight of 666.7g/mol.

The World’s Largest Photo
The World’s Largest Photo – The 2.5 gigapixel photo!
TNO has produced the largest digital panoramic photo in the world. So, what do we mean by large? After all, modern consumer cameras can easily take a picture with 5 million pixels. Hey, I’m talking about a photo of completely different dimensions. One with 2.5 billion pixels - that’s 500 times more pixels. If this photo were printed, it would measure 6.67 m by 2.67 m (300 dpi). The photograph shows Delft and its surroundings in the autumn of 2004. It was taken from the top of the Electrical Engineering faculty of Delft University, at a height of about 100 m, by TNO.
