Aquapac Waterproof Headphones are manufactured to very exacting standards, and we guarantee each pair submersible to a pressure of 10m/33ft*.
They are compliant with CE Directive EC/89/336/EEC (Electromagnetic Conduction) and do not interfere with the signal from all common electronics: Mobile Phones, iPod, VHF radio, TV and more.
The wire used on Aquapac Waterproof Headphones is 100% PVC free, and manufacturing processes are guaranteed as environmentally sound as possible. Aquapac complies with the WEEE (European waste recycling laws), and you will see all Waterproof Headphones marked with the small refuse bin symbol.
Testing has been conducted on the Waterproof Headphones, and they have passed:
High Temperature - 55°C
Low Temperature - -25°C
Submersion in water - 10m/33ft for 8hours
Immersion in salt water - playing music for 72 hours continuously
The wire on the Aquapac Waterproof Headphones is 1m long, for ease of use with an Aquapac BeltPac & MP3 Case.
The Earbuds are made from silicone rubber, which does not support bacterial or fungal growth. These can be detached and washed separately if needed. A spare pair is provided.
