How to Bypass MegaUpload Limits
OK, this is another tutorial/trick/hack among others to cheat MegaUpload, via a forum.
For Firefox:
First go to http://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/59/
Click Install Now to install addon.
Restart FF. Tool–>User Agent Switcher–>Options–>Options
Click User Agents–>Add
Type this:
+ Description: MEGAUPLOAD
+ User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Alexa Toolbar)
Click OK twice to finish adding User Agent.
From now, before downloading any file from MegaUpload, just go Tools–>User Agent Switcher–>MEGAUPLOAD.
For Internet Explorer, Maxthon, Anvant Browser:
Start–>Run–>Regedit–>OK
In Registry Editor window:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]
Right click Post Platform–>New–>String Value–> Type “Alexa Toolbar”
Restart PC. Done!
Note: For IE 7.0 the “Post Platform” will located at:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]

the date is to tell u when it work
i tried the above method but it dont work, so i use total uninstall v3.80 (REGISTERED) to track changes made by the megaupload toolbar installation file
AND i found out that the string value have change.
and here are the new working registry entries
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]
"MEGAUPLOAD 1.0"=""
Note: for those who still dont understand
1. notice the IE version 5.0, even thou i USE IE 6.0
2.Follow above steps, and instead of creating a string ““Alexa Toolbar”” , u should create a new string and type “MEGAUPLOAD 1.0″
Of course, i dont think this will work for quite long, so if it dont work, try total unistall to check out whats the new string value, or new technique to bypass megaupload.

wtf does that mean??? how do i make this work? I do what he sais then i paste that into descreption and click ok 2 times but when i try to change angets its not named MEGAUPLOAD and im pretty shure thats not good its named: + Description: MEGAUPLOAD+ User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; Alexa Toolbar)

i tried changing the string value on IE 7.0 from alexa toolbar to “MEGAUPLOAD 1.0″ and it didn’t work. after it counted down 60 sec and i clicked on the link button, it wouldn’t even load the page that usually says download limit exheeded, instead it just had a page with error connecting to the site or some such. would anyone be kind enough to post up other ways to get around the exheeded download problem

SSSSSSSSSSSOOOO JUST PUT ON 1 ip download while refreshing the other then download en refresh eb repeat

You don’t have to use all the tricks to download from rapidshare and megaupload now. Try http://www.nakido.com, they give you unlimited upload/download and have no file size limit. Also, there’s no countdown/country access limit and your files will keep forever. I’ve tried it, it’s pretty good!

I’ve tried the one for Firefox,
but its not working.
Before downloading I click Megaupload,
then I try to download the file but there’s

I dont think the useragent hack works in Firefox 2.0.0.3. I looked around and when firefox got updated the useragent stoped working.

is working with a string named: “MEGAUPLOAD 2.0″ now, tried with 1.0 and alexa and didnt work, so i installed and uninstalled and that was the key tha changed. try with it.

Ok so i followed the instructions above and tried to download something at megaupload but since it didn’t work I went back and deleted it, but now I can’t download ANYTHING and I’m wondering if I did anything wrong. Please help because I hope I didn’t mess up my computer or something!

or u can simply do this
1) If you don’t have an account already, register on PayPal. Its free.
2) Also register on AdBux (

there was a command line hack that used to work
type in dos…
ipconfig /dnsflush
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
but now the 2nd and 3rd lines dont work.
has anyone ever tried this hack ?
