Birth, Death Rates and CO2 Emission Live Stats!
I stumbled upon this very interesting website, BreathingEarth.net.

Breathing Earth gives visitors a real-time live statistics of the carbon dioxide emission levels of every country in the world, as well as the birth and death rates in a nice world map.
Those statistics given are of course not 100% accurate but just an estimation based on certain sources like the World Factbook and Wikipedia.
I’m pretty shocked and amazed by the stats provided. You see how fast people are born and died and also the mass of CO2 that have been emitted – live!
Guys, check it out!
The Top 10 All-Purpose Laptops
If you are an all round laptop user, you might one to take a look on one of these laptops. PC World had a list of The Best 10 All-Purpose Laptops posted on their website.
If you plan to shop for a laptop sooner or later, this list might be handy to you. Do check out the full list at PC World, and at the mean time here are the top three on the list:
1) Acer Aspire 5920-6954 Laptop

Except for business applications, which it lacks, the Acer Aspire 5920 Vista Home Premium laptop has just about everything home-office buyers could ask for in a solid budget laptop. Equipped with a 1.66-GHz Core 2 Duo T5450 and 2GB of memory, the Aspire 5920-6954 earned a solid WorldBench 6 Beta 2 score of 70. The terrific keyboard boasts loads of shortcut buttons that do everything but take out the trash
India and Indians, Some Factoids
I’ve posted some amazing facts and figures about almost anything some time ago. Here are some equally amazing and interesting factoids, you and especially the Indians out there did not know much about.

My Indian friend, Kareet emailed me this and I thought it will be great to share with you guys instead of keeping it in my Gmail inbox.
OK, interesting facts and figures about India and Indians - roll on!
R.I.P. Webroot Founder

This is neither a great news nor a joke. I was bluntly stunned when I came a cross few tech news sites reporting that Webroot founder, Steven Thomas has been found dead in Hawaii after two weeks gone missing.
This is a sad and shocking news. If you want to read more about this, hop to PCWorld.
Well, I still remember…my very first spyware tool is Webroot Spy Sweeper which I installed in my first desktop PC and I’m still using it today on my laptop.
RIP Steve.
I’m Back!
Hi there guys!
Finally, almost about 2 weeks in Europe, now I’m finally back in my home town, Penang.
I’m still suffering from jet lag and a bit tired due to a near one day flights and transit from Nuremberg Airport-Charles de Gulles Paris-Kuala Lumpur International Airport-Penang International Airport.
My two weeks in Europe…

Team COSMIC, MALAYSIA (From left: Matt, Jasy, KS, KoeKoe).
I had my first week in Paris, going through a unforgettable memory of Imagine Cup 2008. Although we didn’t go to the top, we had a great time there – having unlimited fun and mixing around with other competitors and the best part, exploring the city of Paris! There are too much to say, but I think I’ll need a week or so to say it all. Well, nvm.
I’m Going To Paris!

I’ll be leaving my comfort zone today and heading to Paris for a week. Not on vacation but to compete in the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2008 Finals!
Me and my team COSMIC is representing our country Malaysia in the Software Design Invitational category. This will be a tough one!
I’m not going to talk about my team as well as what is our project here, but feel free to jump into Team Cosmic official blog and the official Team COSMIC profile to check out more on us!
Anyway, I’ll try to blog live from Paris and update you guys on the competition.
Wish me good luck!
People Left Google for Microsoft?

I bumped into this very interesting article, Working at Microsoft vs. working at Google. Guess what? According to Microsoft’s Windows Live Platform program manager, Dare Obasanjo, more and more people had hopped over from Google to Microsoft or had chosen to join Microsoft over Google.
I was little surprised when this article came across. Well you see, According to Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work for 2008, Google is above every other company, and Microsoft is poorly ranked at 86th, not even in the top 50! Based on 2007 list, Microsoft not even in the top 100. Surprising huh?
