Cheers Gmail: Insert Inline Image Anywhere In Your Email
I have been waiting for this feature (I bet you guys do as well!) to be made official since Gmail was born and finally Gmail now supports inline images — officially!
Previously, there are a few tweaks to put inline images in your Gmail’s email but you no longer need that now. Gmail’s got a new option in its labs section that lets users insert images directly into their e-mails, and not just as attachments.

How to activate? Easy pie! Just turn on “Inserting images” from the Labs tab under Settings, and you’ll see a new toolbar icon beside the emoticon’s icon. Continue Reading →

Google’s Web Server and Data Center Revealed

Google has been running on its own servers at its own data center for some time now. So, have you ever wonder how Google’s servers and data center look like?
For the first time at Google Data Center Energy Summit, Google provided a look inside its data center operations and revealed its custom web server to the public.

FileFront is Going Off: for Good, for Ever!
If you are a gamer, I bet you have heard of this name — FileFront. NO?
Here is a brief one, thanks to Wikipedia:
FileFront is a computer game and video game download service that provides patches, demos, modifications and other user generated game related content. It was first launched in December 2001, and created by I/O Error Development.
The current owner of FileFront, Ziff Davis (Ziff Davis Media Game Group) who bought it back in 2005 will put FileFront off the line on March 30, 2009 — for good and for ever.
In a message (see below) posted by FileFront’s management and team, all FileFront operations will be suspended indefinitely citing poor economic conditions as the driving factor. Continue Reading →

Hint: Google Is Your World Clock!
Guys, forget about your world clock gadget, widget, app, iPhone… because Google is here finally with time “googling”.
Like tons of others Google search shortcuts, simply google for “time” to show your local time or “time <place, state, country>” e.g. “time us” for various time across the US.

Google, Yahoo On Twitter, Too!
Even Google and Yahoo use Twitter to “sms” their users…

A quick check on Microsoft on Twitter reveals that Microsoft is there too but appeared to be a fake one (0 following, 238 followers & 0 updates). Anyway, Microsoft Live Search is there for real @Live_Search.
I noticed that @google, @yahoo and @Live_Search are following each other!

Some quick updates here…
As you all noticed, I’ve not been blogging since… quite time time now. I’m super busy with life, university life. I’m now in my final part of my final semester, assignments, tests, projects and exams jammed my time.
But don’t worry, I’ll be back as soon as I’m done with all these after April.
Stay tuned!
