Bank of America Latest Scam

I received this funny email from a so-called officer of Bank of America. Without opening the email, I’ve already known that this is definately another scam! – I don’t have any account with Bank of America.

This scam is not a professional scam, but anyway just to alert you guys, I’ve a few snapshots here:

I also recieved a funny email like that but different today.” Dear Customer,
We regret to inform you that your Bank of America online banking account has been suspended.
Please understand that this drastic measure was taken in order to protect your online privacy.
Bank of America tracks all online activity. This tracking system tells us, among others, if you are using your account from a different computer(s) than the one you registered on.
We recently noticed that your account has been accessed from several foreign IP addresses.

If you were traveling and you accessed your account from a foreign country we are sorry for the inconvenience, regardless, such suspicious action was treated as an attempt to obtain your personal information.
Please Sign In to your account as soon as possible and verify your identity in order to unlock your account. Follow this link to the login page:

Thank you for your understanding and patience in these matter.

When i clicked on it, it took me to what looked like a Bank of America site that asked for my id and password (no sitekey) not really thinking anything of it at that moment i entered it. Then it took me to a site asking for all my personal information includeding account numbers and social security number. I stopped then and went to the Bank of A site i signed in on a few days ago to pay my bill (its in my favorites) and everything was fine. I then changed my id and password just to be safe but opps on my part.
