How to Download Google Video

OK, it’s simply easy.

If you want to be able to download any Google video just follow these steps:

  1. Get Firefox 1.5 or later (if you don’t already have it).
  2. Install Greasemonkey.
  3. Restart Firefox 1.5.
  4. Install this script using Greasemonkey. (Right-click here and select “Install User Script…“)
  5. Done!

Now, go to http://video.google.com, find ANY video you want to download and just download the video in the format you preferred. (See below)

You can download video from Google in two formats:

  • .FLV – Flash video is the best format for web. You need a FLV player. (See below)
  • .AVI – Recommended! Playable by most media players.

To play .FLV files, you need to download and install FLV Player 1.3.3 (freeware)

If you are too lazy to follow the steps above, you can just go to this site, fM Google, Youtube & Ifilm Video Downloader. But ONLY in .FLV format.
