Asus Green PC
Asus plans to develop a PC based on the concept of Green PC. With the help of some clever wireless connectivity and non-contact inductive power source, the computer is broken down into a series of interchangeable modules. It includes the machine’s hard drives, optical units, memory, processor, graphics engine, network interface.

To build a Green PC, you just load up as many of these as you need on the shelf-like base unit. The design is that all the modules communicate wirelessly to discover what capabilities and services each can offer. The units are powered from the base through induction.
Although a working prototype is not ready yet, with the rapid evolution in technology, such a machine will be a reality in the near future.
My 2 Cents
This is a good move for this industry. This will take a while but certainly is very cool. Wireless video card sounds interesting!
