gOS - GoogleOS or GreenOS?
gOS is an new operating system that just made it move into the “green” market. It claims to be a simple, user friendly, beautiful desktop for normal people. Normal people?
How about a gPC? gPC (PC that customized and loaded with gOS) is on the move too. gPC and gPC related motherboards are available at Walmart and ClubIT.com (and maybe other major US retailers).

Interesting…
gOS is just another free OS out there (which is based on Ubuntu 7.10). It is preloaded with tons of Google applications, Gmail, Gtalk, Calendar, Maps, Docs and Spreadsheets, Blogger, Youtube and more. It has a build in Google search right on the desktop! Well, this is “interesting”! A conceptual Google Operating System?
The question is: gOS, a new operating system for green or Google? Kinda interesting to figure out what the “g” stands for. Is it Google or green? It has many Google services customized to an extent that we assume the “g” is for Google, but…
ThinkgOS.com claims that gOS is not affiliated with Google…
gOS is an independent operating system devoted to making Google Applications and other free, web software more widespread and accessible to the world. gOS is not affiliated with Google or their partners.
You say?
By the way, gOS available for download here (CD version).
