How to Run Multiple (Polygamy) Yahoo Messenger
You must have probably heard of this… at least for MSN Messenger or Windows Live Messenger. No you can too login using multiple ID’s with Yahoo! Messenger and it is very easy.
This is a little, very simple trick with not additional patches or any third party tools involved. A simple tweak to your registry will do the trick and I will show you how.
- First up, open your Registry Editor (Run… > “regedit”)
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Yahoo > pager >Test
- You need to add a new key. Right click, select DWORD Value and rename it to “Plural”.
- Now, open the value of this new key by double clicking it. Set the Value data to 1 and select Decimal for Base.
- And you are done! Close Registry Editor and restart Yahoo! Messenger.

To sign in with another Yahoo! ID, simply launch another Yahoo! Messenger.
