Here are two tools to download video in flv. format from Youtube.com.

Youtube Grabber is a free tool that downloads FLV files from Youtube. Simply copy and paste the URL of a video from Youtube into the program, press grab OR enter, and the file will be downloaded into the same directory as the program.

Well you don’t need any software for just one clip, but you need a software for batch download. If you want to search and batch download from Youtube.com, try this BrownRecluse script: Softbytelabs.com (check the WebFiles tab under “youtube_SDL_dd_mm_yyp.zip”)
The script is free and very powerful. Allows resuming and updating downloads. Even creates thumbnail pages of your downloaded clips. Drop me a line if you like it.

Note - You’ll need to install BrownRecluse program, which is shareware but can be used freely for one month but is worth every penny anyway. Then open the script in BrownRecluse, click the Run button. You need a (free) registration account on Youtube.

The second video downloader here, wasn’t made by feneris, it was made by a guy from planetsourcecode.com just search youtube in visual basic area and you’ll see it, feneris is obviously a loser who is too dumb to learn her/him self lol.

How To download videos From YouTube
Have you ever wished you could download a video from youtube, but found yuorself pulling your hair out trying to figure out how to do it? Maybe you have found some software that promises to do the job for you, but had to go through numerous steps just to get the video.
This article will explain how you can download a video straight from youtube, and play it in any media player.
First of all youtube doesnt provide a download link for any of its videos, so you need to search for a program or software that lets you do the job. One of my favourites is YouTube Video Grabber, you can find it here: http://www.youtubevideograbber.com
On the site you will see a box and a download button. All you need to do is copy and paste the link to the page that contains the youtube video you want into the box and click the “get youtube video” button. You will then see a prompt that asks you where you want to download the file to, choose somewhere on your computer, but rename the file from “get_video” to whatever you want to call it, then add an extention to the name. The extension will tell your computer which program to use to open the file. Some of the most popular extensions are flv, wmv, mpeg or avi.An example file name would be something like “myvideo.(extension)” just replace (extension with whatever extension you want to use. if i wanted to play the file in a flash video player i would call it “myvideo.flv”.
Once you have done those steps, you will then be able to play the video on your computer. I have found a very good media player that will play ANY format going, and more, it’s call VLC media player, and you can download it from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
