Not Hogzilla, but The Biggest Wild Boar
No kidding! This wild boar aka ‘Monster Pig’ weight in at 1051 pounds and 9–feet-4 long was killed by an 11–year-old Alabama boy. This is bigger than the Hogzilla, which believe to be weighted about 800 pounds and 8 feet long.

That is not a wild boar, that is a domesticated hog, not to mention that it was the property of a local farmer that was not to happy about it being shot.

Impressive yes, but I don’t understand what the fuss is about. Many domestic breeds of pigs do not stop growing and reach very large size if not slaughtered. My brother raised a boar easily the size of the ‘hogzilla’ shown on his farm in Alberta (a new farmer’s mistake) and my father hunted feral pigs in Australia that were close to that size. The pig in this story is a feral pig, not a wild species.
What is really significant is the apparent inter-breeding of American and Eurasian boars resulting in very large wild boars in Texas and the south east.
